About
Karen O'Dwyer is a friendly, highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist working with people with spoken and non-spoken communication challenges and supports those with language and swallowing difficulties. Her clients include private, GP Medicare referred, as well as self or plan managed NDIS participants. Sessions can be in clinic, at client’s homes, schools, the community or via Telehealth.
Karen supports clients across the lifespan, working with individuals with Autism, ADHD, and cognitive-communication challenges related to aphasia and brain injuries. She delivers SPEAK OUT! therapy for people with Parkinson's disease and has a strong interest in voice and resonance disorders. Karen collaborates closely with clients and their families to achieve functional and meaningful outcomes.
